LA & OC Walmart Price Guarantee Now Includes Online Prices
Walmart is testing a new feature of their Ad Match program. Starting Tuesday, December 10 through December 19, 2011 at a few LA and OC Walmart Stores listed below, Ad Match will include online retailers.
What this means is that if you go to one of the stores listed below, they’ll match the price of an online retailer of the exact item (if they stock the item). All you need to do is show the item for sale using your cell phone.
This is not available nationwide, only at a few stores in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas listed below. If it’s not on the list, the offer is not available.
Walmart seems to be catching up to what is really happening. Shoppers like me do a lot of comparison price shopping. We now compare prices from storefronts to those found online. And if I can find the exact item at the local Walmart that is being sold by someone else online, without needing to wait or pay for shipping, I would definitely buy the Walmart item.
