The Aquarium of the Pacific Free Kids Fun Run!

The event takes place on October 8, 2011 (the day BEFORE the Marathon) and starts at 9am. Why am I mentioning this so early you ask? Well only the first 2000 kids ages 6-12 years old will be allowed to register, so registering early is important. And yes, registration is FREE!
Plus kids will get a medal, entry into the Aquarium of the Pacific and Finishers Certificate! Seems like a pretty cool event and a great way for young kids to become part of an athletic event.
The Kids 1 Mile Fun Run course starts and finishes in front of the Aquarium of the Pacific. The course takes them around lighthouse, which has some awesome views of the Queen Mary. Should be a fun day for the kids.
