Free Women’s Day Festival at MOLAA

The Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach is having a Women’s Day Festival on Sunday March 19, 2011. And since it’s Target Free Sunday, admission is FREE!!!

From the MOLAA website:

“The public is invited to honor the artistic contributions of local women at MOLAA’s annual Women’s Day Festival during our monthly Passport to the Arts Sunday. The festival will also include a juried display of artwork as well as free art workshops, performances and a spotlight on female jewelry designers from Mexico and Brazil. Performers include Trio Ellas, a Los Angeles based musical group that fuses classic romantic trio with mariachi for a dynamic, nostalgic sound.”

MOLAA is open Sunday from 11am-5pm, and the Women’s Festival will be from noon-4pm.
